Weekly Notes- April 21, 2019

April 21stRE classes begin in service. Dismissal from classrooms at 11:45. See below for more information.

  • 10:45-11:00RE will move to room 101/103 for a spirit circle where we will have an all group sharing circle on what we are thankful for about spring and I will explain the stations. The youth will hide the eggs on the playground or room 210 (weather dependent)*
  • 11:00-11:45RE will begin to explore various stations with their checklists for welcoming spring.
    • Room 101/103- making art (mandalas, stamps, books, painting rock coasters and pots, etc.)
    • Room 210/side lawn- pinwheels and bubbles, playing with water beads and play dough
    • Room 210/playground- Easter egg hunt on the playground
      • 11:00-11:15(nursery-1stgrade)
      • 11:30-11:45(2nd-5thgrade)
    • 11:45-12:00Station clean up

Volunteers Needed:

  • Event photographer- Take photos.
  • Event reporter- Write an article about the event for the Lighted Chalice.
  • Clean up- Extra clean up as needed from 11:45-12:00
