Last week, we explored how fun it can be to be somebody else for a day and to face your fears with our all ages’ Halloween service. I loved seeing all the creative costumes! Next week kicks off our November curriculum with the topic of gratitude.

  • November 29th– No RE classes (students may go to the nursery if needed)

Last week, we learned about the connections between people around the world and worked on puzzle pieces to highlight our own special gifts and talents. Next week will be our all ages’ service for Halloween. Don’t forget to wear your costume!

Last week, we learned about generosity and the interconnectedness of life by going on a nature scavenger hunt and learning about parts of the plant that we eat. Next week there will be no RE classes due to the field trip to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum for the Sacred Journey’s exhibit.

RE Class Information and Guide Schedule for 10/11: STUDENTS BEGIN AND STAY IN SERVICE IF NOT ATTENDING FIELD TRIP. CHILDCARE AVAILABLE IN NURSERY FOR CHILDREN AGES 8 AND YOUNGER IF NEEDED. Liz Cohen and Amy Bauer will be helping out in the nursery.

Indianapolis Children’s Museum Field Trip Information:

  • Time: Please meet in the fellowship hall at 10:30 for a 10:45 departure time. Pickup will be by 4:00 in the fellowship hall.
  • Lunch: Please bring a sack lunch. We will eat upon arrival.
