Important Reminders and Upcoming Events:

  • Please see the RE bulletin board/table in the fellowship hall and https://regluu.wordpress.com/ for important RE information and announcements.
  • Please see the RE website to register your child or use this link: http://tinyurl.com/pgspcsb
  • We will be conducting a tornado drill during RE on April 3rd.  Students should go to class normally.  A little before 11 we will announce the drill.  You should move your students to the nearest “safe space,” close your classroom door, and have them sit facing a wall with arms over their heads.  We will make sure all students are accounted for and release the drill.  Hopefully, the whole drill will last about 5 minutes. Safe Spaces:  Nursery should use the men’s bathroom next door.  Pre-K should use the men’s bathroom in the administrative wing.  1-3 should use the women’s bathroom in the administrative wing.  4-6 should use the women’s bathroom in the RE hallway. 7-12 should sit in the hallway outside their classroom. Thank you for your assistance as we try to make sure our plans for any severe weather work.

The 4th-6th grade program is designed for learning about and discussing the physical and emotional changes of puberty. Participants will examine topics such as values and sexuality, communication, and decision-making.

Important Reminders and Upcoming Events:

  • An unbelievably huge thank you to Will Cannon, Ian Dufair, and everyone else who helped out with the Jr. High Election CON, LepreCON!!! We had over 45 youth and staff sharing meals, playing games, and attending workshops. The CON was an enormous success thanks to the talents and organization of Will, Ian, and all of the helpers who cooked, ran workshops, bought supplies, cleaned, took photographs, and chaperoned. We raised over $800 for the RE program that will be used to provide opportunities for our youth to attend future UU events, such as GA.
